Photo shoot ---> with the cops???

Ok, so I just got my Nikon D50. I was out at the sawgrass mall to take some practice shots when I see a sunrise PD cop drive buy.
I stop for a second ( to turn off my angel eyes, I have the hyper white PMB's and was worried he was going to hassle me about them) when all of a sudden he comes rolling up with his spot light in my face.

He wanted to know what I was doing, I tell him that i was just photographing my car. I even show him the pictures. So he starts to screw with me...bla bla bla....he then asks me for my licence I reach in my back pocket. I then relize I didn't have it. I had just come from work and changed my pants and left my wallet in them. So he's like well you better find it

He finally decides to look up the file. When he sees that my file is on reccord he just gets in his car and leaves. WTF!!!!!!This is

Heres one of the shots that I got...Its good except that I cant figure out how to get rid of the stars around the lights

The stars are created by using a very small aperature (f25). Try using a faster shutter speed like 1/4s (instead of 30s like your shot was) and an aperature of f5.6 or so. This should get rid of the "stars". I personally like the effect - looks good in your sig as well.

yea...police are such jackasses...most of the time cuz they are jealous and want to abuse their given power....

when i was taking pics, the mall security was looking at me and asked what i was doing...(I had a camera stand and my car posed).......is it that hard to tell or these dumbasses are just so retarded? The guy even wanted to buy my car and asked how much.....it's a joke

I had a similar experience with a security guard at a mall. He wanted my information, ever since 911 they don't allow people to take photos of the buildings or of things on their property. I gave him my info, no biggie.

haha, i've actually been pulled over twice and never gotten out of a ticket. i think i am the only girl that can say that. maybe because i don't act much like a girl. i don't act all sweet and stupid.

actually you know what...i act way more like a girl than i appear online. i'm not girly on the inside but i don't think i can control it coming out. i bet i'm probably pretty girly and i just don't realize it.

True...sometimes we can't see how we really are. Girly or not...If I had an opportunity to get out of some tickets...why the heck not, right?
