nexus in car isntall questions ?

Planning a nexus 7 tablet install in my 2012 E88 convertible and obviously would like to have the sound from the nexus go thru the cars own speakers. can anyone advise me what i require to allow me to enable this ? also have seen some installs where there is a very nice Bmw theme app launcher page, anyone advise me what this launcher is and where I can download it from ?

okay thanks will have a good read thru, anyone else here offer any tips on how I get that lovely bmw badge launch screen seen on so many nexus installs ?
