I only get that if I spend my entire gas tank driving between Orlando, Daytona and Jacksonville on the highway. Otherwise its low 200s.
(as an NA owner) You're damn right it is.

Funny I said that the real fun is in the corners because just a few hours ago I slid the other BMW out of the road and almost into a tree. Whoops.

Almost anything if my DCT decides to not shift into 1st the first 3 attempts like it does most days.
Stalls out almost 3 times before it goes, "Oh yeah, gutting the power when shifting into 1st probably doesn't make sense because it'll stall the engine at low speeds, huh?" |

My eqo is unscathed. Just disagree that you think it takes NO skill to push any performance car to its limits. Not doubting you beat an E60 M5, just saying in the right hands it would not happen.

I think the joke is that the forum normally refers to the Corolla and Camry as examples of boring driving appliances. Here's the new 2018 Camry. Car and Driver says "this Camry really wants to party." lol https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...t-drive-review

Most people driving high perf cars are.... especially 911s, Vetts, and most of the other US made mass produced muscle cars people think are "collectible"

e60 m5 get walked by fbo e85 tune n54 its pretty well known..
besides reaction time and instant response being on the m5 side it may get the jump but its getting left. i passed my boy c63 amg edition507 at 150 n54 is pretty suprisingly fast up top believe it or not.. the m5 is one hell of a car though much funner to drive and etc.. |

My 05 e60 545i was a tad slower than my 2011 135i.
E60 stock is 3700 lbs / 325 hp = 11.385 & 0-60 in 5.2 E82 stock is 3370 / 309 hp = 11.233 0-60 in 4.7 That said the suspension & handling on the 545i was the best of any car I've owned. The adaptive suspension was nothing short of spectacular if the e60 didn't have SO MANY frigging electronic gremlins and other issues (maintenance nightmare) I'd have kept it. Fun fun car to drive.

I would never use the bolded phrase to describe any N62-powered BMW.
