Bimmerfest is usually either at the end of April or 1st week May. It is held at Santa Barbara, CA. I went in 2003 and it was very fun. Food provided too. The crowd gets bigger and bigger ever year.

I agree that this has been a tough journey. I have plans on picking my 1er up on the 19th. I have to travel about 3 hours to the dealership to get it so it has to be on the weekend for me. Although I would be surpirsed if I don't call in sick when it comes in next week:wink:

I Google-mapped the time difference between Port to San Diego & Port to San Jose. (Yes I'm that bored at work) It's only a 3 hour difference by car. I'd say 4 hour difference by truck? If the trucks for the Asian Chorus P1 BMWs left at the same time, that should make an ETA of 3:30PM for San Jose area dealerships. I'll keep my hopes up for a call today. :thumbup:

If it does come in today the dealership still has to look over everything again and give it a wash before they hand it to me. This blows.

Anyone here getting any optional parts installed by the dealer? Things like tint, performance rotors, carbon mirrors, etc.?

My dealership is a hardass, they don't do tints or badge removals. Liability issues
I will have my F1 Pinnacle 35 installed on the 26th however.

Ah, I hear ya!

My dealership does tint but my CA told me that if I order the tint straight through the tint shop I will save about $100 which of course is the dealerships markup.

So technically the dealership is not doing my tint either.

They also offered to do my badge removal but I would rather tackle that myself. I trust myself more then I would trust them:w00t:

I talked to my CA, my truck is coming in on Monday. (It left today) They have a paper with all that information, you can call him/her and ask.
