135i brake disk Temperature
Hi everyone!
I have a problem with my front rotors, I have notice after the trackday, by front rotors get bended, beacuse after that, in the street, when i have a hard brake, tha car shake a LOT! Which is the max teperature the OEM front rotors can get? I have measured the temperature after the last lap, and is over 300° (my laser gun say Out of range, max 300°, celcius) vent Disk will help?, like this one? https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E82-13...0968/Checkout/ Any idea? Thanks!! |

Rotors do not bend.
I can almost bet, you're still using OEM pads, not braking properly...and thus transferring material from the OEM pads to the rotors. These pad deposits will cause the rotor to feel like you are describing. |

you probably have deposits on your rotor like Kgolf31 said. you could try bedding in your brakes again or just drive around normally and see if they go away. If not you may have to get new rotors or rougher pads that will scrape the old deposits off.
