30k service due, now out of warranty , any suggestions other than Northshore BMW at Artarmon , somewhere close would be good

I just got an oilservice (car was 40200 km) at Northshore Artarmon and it cost me $445. That's for oil, new oil filter etc plus a microfilter for A/C and the usual inspection stuff. I thought that was reasonably priced for a dealer service.

My Polo GTI @ 15000 km cost $400 at a non-dealer VW/Audi specialist (Dealer would've cost $485), and that was just an inspection and oil/filter change too!

I also got stuff sorted under extended warranty. My usual SA wasn't available and I got a junior burger noob but he came to the party despite saying initially my window regulator/motor wasn't a warrantable item. That worked out to be $1560, so another $800 warranty expenditure to go before I break even for my extended warranty

Advan Performance, they have the Autologic system now so everything is done via BMW spec.
