Aero Packages
Not sure were to post this so here it goes...
I found a pretty sweet 128i sitting on a lot nearby, however it does not have M-Sport pack only the regular Sport Pack. I really wanted the Aero kit though. I was wondering if it was possible to get the M Aerodynamic kit put on after and how much it would cost? Thanks |

It is possible but the cost will vary...here is what the actual cost is http://accessories.bmwusa.com/ItemVi...&productId=985 but then you have to factor in installation (and maybe paint, not 100% certain if it comes painted)
There are also some after market manufacturers that make similar body kits for probably cheaper

I would consider this also, but I was wondering if you could get the M kit that comes on the 135i. |

Stumped me, no idea where to buy the M-Sport one...
You may get lucky and find someone who bought BMW Performance one and has spare kit laying around in your color

Haha, Its a he. I would love to have a 135 but my price range ends around 36-37k. Also this is my first real car as well as first manual so I feel a 128 would be a better starter car, and I wouldn't kill myself like might in a 135. Am i right?

Even if you never drove stick, you would pick it up before the break in period ends so that shouldnt be a factor...
Now price is another matter, get what you can afford...if I were in your situation I would much rather go for a fully loaded 128 than a bare bones 135i. But if you can do 135i + just M-Sport or Sport that would be AWESOME!

You can buy the parts through your local BMW dealer, some of the vendors around here or possibly used.
Prices will vary WILDLY depending on where you get it, what kind of deal you're able to negotiate, who paints it and who installs it. A random ballpark figure for new parts, paint & install at a dealer would be low $2000's to do both ends. If you're lucky enough to salvage the parts locally from another car (unlikely) and/or do the install yourself you could do this for a fraction of that cost. |

Okay thanks for the replies. I'll try Dan@United. Thanks for the offer BrokenVert but I would want the front bumper with the foglights that come with the 128 m-sport package. I may just have to continue searching for a manual m-sport 128

Or order a Manual M-Sport 128 and get the options you want...
Trying to find one on the lots is going to be hard plus BMW stealerships add useless option combinations to bring the price up on their cars. If you order you save money and dont have to pay for crap you dont need
