Modifying headrests

Anyone ever mod the headrests so they sit flush with the seats?

I wonder if the e60 5 series headrests would fit the seat?

Its funny you say that because I was wondering the exact same thing. I ended up pushing in the retaining button and giving the headrest a good bang, and it went down completely with no gap

Really? Now this is interesting. I just need to find a pair of black e60 headrests.
Combine this with the E92 center console mod & you have the best of all 3 worlds

Glad I could help. Also, for much better rear view mirror visibility, just remove the rear headrests.

Are you guys really short or something? Because if you're over 5'5" or so, the headrests will not be in the proper position to protect your neck if you lower them all the way. The back of your head should make contact with the middle of the headrest cushion and not allow your neck to hyperextend.

I'm over 6' and have it all the way up. I guess it doesn't look as cool or something.
