isnt IAA every other year? i dont think you missed it. iirc, its in paris the years it isnt at frankfurt.

i could just be an idiot and lying to everyone though.

what day is everyone trying to roll? i think the 15th and 16th are press only days? 17th should be the first day open to the public, which is a saturday. i want to roll to the ring on the 18th.

I'm going this afternoon/evening. Its more expensive 45 euros, but I heard that the weekend crowd is unbearable and I leave back to the US on Monday!

Have a great time up there. I went yesterday and it was great!! The Schnitzer 1M is great looking. The new BMW concept cars are very interesting too. Got to see the new M5. They have a white one and the Monte Carlo Blue that was at M Festival. I will throw up some pics soon

Rick - I took almost 3K pics on Tuesday's press day @IAA. And I only went to a few of the larger halls like: BMW, Porsche, VAG, MB, ect. Audi coppied the BMW test track hall. MB huge hall was unreal!!!

I saw on German TV that in the car supplier halls there are some cool things to be see. Like in Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH they have their Lancia Stratos based on a Ferrari F430 chassis. I wonder IF Herpa has their electro Trabbi project again on display.

I am thinking of going back on Tuesday. I just can't get enough of the IAA show. Btw... the IAA goes untill Sept 25th! 9am until 6pm every day.

Dave you lucked out on the Tuesday date. It was a little crowded yesterday with the Chancellor visiting the show.

Did BMW have all their cars open for people to sit in them? They did on the press day and it was really nice to have not so many people and acess to all the new cars.

I think I heard somehwere only 10K press were there. I think Normally the IAA see's around 120K people on most days! lol

They did have all the cars open except for the Monte Carlo M5.
