vinyl taped black window trims

Should have done the same! But it would be expensive where I live so I might as well get the trim pieces instead.

I wonder if anyone has tried to simply paint the trim. I've been told its difficult to paint over chrome, but I'm sure it's got to be cheaper than getting the original trim pieces.

I think replacing the chrome trim requires replacement of the rear windows if I'm not mistaken.

Yah I wanted to see about painting over chrome, would think it would look good but if it chips or wears you have chrome showing. So probably many coats.

after the window trims done by myself, I got a professional done up the spoiler and the mirrors and the hood.thanks to Mario Design team.
