Remember the DIY coffee table with a recycled broken E39 M5 engine ?
(http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...27&postcount=7) Just came across another ///M coffee table (Jason Phillips Design - 2011). For the die hard ///M fans (with deep pockets ?): "///M Table Bavarian Motor Works is the German automobile, motorcycle and engine manufacturing company more commonly referred to as BMW. If you are a fan, then this table needs no introduction. Although BMW has been around since 1916, their motorsport and performance division was born in the mid 1980s. The emblem has become iconic...almost 'cult-ish'. ///M Table measures 42x32x17"h and is constructed from cold-pressed steel. It is finished in a durable and sexy powder coat that matches exactly the pantones on the real logo. Other finishes can be custom ordered. Will be produced and distributed by award-winning US-based company Phillips Collection. Pricing and availability available upon request." http://jasonphillipsdesign.prosite.c...allery/m-table "The BMW M table is too good for coffee By Zach Bowman - Posted Nov 29th 2011 3:30PM We aren't typically ones to geek out on furniture, but this warrants an exception to the rule. Phillips Collection has worked up a coffee table perfect for any BMW fan. From the side, the piece simply looks to be three tilted boxes, but view the table from above and it becomes clear that it's actually a physical manifestation of the BMW M logo. Made from cold-pressed steel and powder coated in the exact hues used by the BMW go-fast division, the table is sure to last for years and years. If you want one as badly as we do, you'll have to contact Phillips Collection for more information. Designer Jason Phillips is based in Greensboro, North Carolina and has crafted a number of innovative tables and chairs. You can check out his full portfolio by heading over to his Behance page." http://www.autoblog.com/2011/11/29/t...od-for-coffee/

Re the DIY coffee table with a recycled broken E39 M5 engine (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...27&postcount=7): same idea, other recycled engine (no ///M car engine though). Belgian DIY owner explained: "I included LED lighting and a champaign bottle holder + the glass table can be extended/moved for free access to the bottles + leaking recipient for removal of ice water".
