What's Your Ultimate BMW List

After the much fun "ultimate cars in your garage" list, how about sharing the ultimate BMWs you have always wanted to own list?

If money (and other practical things) wouldn't be any object which seven BMW models would you keep in your garage?

Here is mine sorted by date:

1) 507 Roadster
2) Z1
3) Z3 M Coupe
4) Z8
5) E46 M3 CSL
6) Z4 M Coupe
7) 1M

And I am really sorry about the E30 M3, E92 M3, E39 M5 and 2002 Turbo to name the least!

What a timely post. I had my first 850CSi sighting yesterday! I spoke with the owner today and we're planning to meet up later this week. If it happens I'll snap a couple more pictures of my 1M and his 850CSi and will post them on the forum.

Sorry for the poor quality photos. All I had at the time was the camera on my phone.

My dad used to have one of those! It was the only one in my country and a really attention getter.
It was that same color but with the stock M-System II wheels.
What a beauty!!
Please post some more pics if you get together.

Cheers and congrats on your 1M.

Checked your garage photos, amazing stable, you are almost there to open a local BMW Museum of your own.

In order of want ...

1. E30 M3 Evolution - I've always had a thing for the E30. It was the first BMW I really, really lusted after. I must have been around 10 when I managed to get my hands on a BMW poster from the 80's showing a black M3 slashing it's way through a German forest road with the words 'Ultimate Driving Machine' printed across the bottom. Other car posters came and went on my bedroom walls in my parent's house. The BMW poster is still there. Also, it's the BMW that whipped Merc's a$$ all across Europe and back for several years.

2. E28 M5 (Euro spec) - It's the original Q car. The wolf in sheep's clothing. The Car Darth Vader would drive. In Euro spec, you got the amazing engine from the M1: BMW's first super car; 'Nuff said.

3. 2002 Tii - Just look at it! It personifies BMW to me: Light, lithe, sleek and shark-like. Cream with ///M stripes please.

In addition, I would consider the E92 M3 GTS and the E39 M5 to be quite desirable. The 507 is gorgeous but the contemporary Merc SL was a better car.
