Problems on the dyno
I have had my 2009 135i Automatic dynoed at two different shops in the last two weeks and showed really crappy numbers. While running Map 6 (Custom Tune) 15 lbs of boost with a DCI I ran 308 rwhp and 310 lbs/ft. I then ran VP 104 on Map 7 (Race Tune) and ran a 322 rwh and 332 lbs/ft. I know I should around 355-380 rwhp. I spoke with the tech at Dallas Mustang and he said that my Air/Fuel Ratio was high. I was running too rich. My AFR was 14.8. Any thoughts?

14.8 is lean, not rich.

14.8 should be the idle A/F ratio, while WOT should be about 11.8-~12.8 or somewhere around that ballpark.

When you dyno you'd do datalogs and then email the CSV exports in to BMS along with the dyno charts for advice. If it's a mustang dyno might be normal for power output. If you have been doing custom tuning, etc, you may have set something too lean. I'd get the logs in to BMS ASAP.

Its was on a dyno jet. I'm familiar with mustang dynos. It's weird, i know, thanks for the help, though. Hopefully I can get this fixed. Mike I'll email you the dyno graph. Let me know if there is anything else you need to troubleshoot.

Mike could this be a result of not enough modifications or octane to run Map7? I thought it might be safe to run Map 7 (race map) for just a couple of dyno runs. I actually was running 93 octane with octane booster. I know, probably dumb, what can I say, wanted to see high numbers. Could that be a reason that I am too lean? The air to fuel ratio graph drops off at 5100 rpm it isnt consistent.

Octane booster can boost octane by up to 1-2 points max. You had way too low of an octane to run Map 7 (requires 100 octane) and 15 psi on map 6. You should have run map 1, 2, or 5. The car was likely pulling timing to save from detonation and lowering output.
