As nice as the coupe looks in the photos, I know its going to be much more impressive in person. Same thing happened to me with the sedan...

thats an interesting question. i would think it was the same person.

i have another one. did seperate people / persons design the previous sedan/coupe 3 series?

or did whomever do the sedan also got assigned to do the coupe version.

Thanks to s750foj for the photoshop of the AW and to tbensous for the proportions....

I think the car looks good... just as i thought the sedan did when it first came out and after a few months it grew on me i began to love it... same thing will happen with the coupe...

yea, the lines and features (i.e. fibre-optics strips in the taillights) are very similar to the E90 so I'm guessing it's the same guy..I know Chris Bangle did the E46 but I'm not sure if he did the coupe as well, b/c the sedan looks very different from the coupe...The Japanese designer also did the E36 design and E39? You bring up a good point..can anyone offer any insight on this?

Also has to do with the quality of the photos, half the photos we've seen so far have been small and not of the highest quality. I'm sure once we see the megal resolution ones it'll look better.

I wonder if the e92 will have LEDs taillights like the 7 series. After all the design of the e92 taillights is identical to the 7 series.

Hello e90post, this is my first post in the forum!

I really like the new E92! But does it will come with full LED tail lights like the previous generation E46 coupe!?

What about the dual side exhausts, in which models of E92 it will be available?

agreed. the e92 looks okay, if BMW just got the proportions right... the front end looks like that of a short 2door coupe, while the back looks like an extended limo. the front wheels are pushed so far to the front, yet the back wheels are way too close to the middle of the car as opposed to the outside rear corners.

You guys really think the press pics look all that bad?

I think the E92 press pics look great. BMW has done a lot worse (E65 7 series 1st gen comes to mind...)

Awesome car either way..!
