I still love my 1M!
After a little over 1 1/2 yrs...I still spend a lot of time out in the garage staring at the little beauty! I can't help it....its an obsession. I still pull it in and out of the garage to see it in different views....my wife can't drive a manual so I had my dad drive it around and I followed him in his car so I could see what it looked like driving...yeah...it was badass! I park a mile away everywhere I go....I kind of get angry when I see a for sale thread on this forum for a 1M. Is anyone with me or am I crazy?

Lots of 1Ms for sale I think people saw it as a good deal to experience the car for a bit and then sell without taking a loss. Too bad because cars like this are rare if ever to be made again by any company. The future for fun sports cars is bleek.. the new M6 is plain horrible as a drivers car and its supposed to be a range topper. Keep enjoying the car on the same level that you have |

I do some of the stuff you do like park a mile away, and I do question why someone would want to sell such a great car lol and I even glance back for a 3rd and 4th look, but for the rest, you are a little crazy
Enjoy it |

It is a car worthy of lusting after. Just don't let your wife catch you dry humping those flared fenders at 2 a.m. and all will be great.

lol this thread brought a smile to my day
along with the double, triple, quadruple look backs on my walks away from parking the car.. and keeping the car meticulously clean. i also take more pictures of the car (at the SAME EXACT angles) than i do of anything else lol guess we are all a little bit crazy in love hahaha |

Seems that you're eligible (too) for the "1M Addicts Anonymous" sub section: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=687037

These cars are amazing. I've owned 3 M3 (2 e46 and 1 e92) and would never trade for my 1M. Much more fun to drive it and way faster. It draws attention everyday. Specially on my case that's the only 1M in town... This car stays in Brasil. Have a GT3 in Miami but enjoy the 1M more... So much torque in that beast.

I concur with the OP
I've seen a few VO's fly by me going the opposite way on normal roads and it looks menacing. I do want to see what my car looks like from another point of view but I don't want anyone else to drive my car lol! |

I feel the same as the OP... It's kinda like when you hear of good friends that are getting divorced..
I still love my 1M, it's the only one in my State of 2 Million people..

I let my wife take her friends to lunch in mine after I got it was pretty awesome to see it in motion as she left and came back. I have seen 2 VOs and 1 AW on the road but no other BSMs (except at meets).
