Geniune CF Spoiler & Mirror Caps
Hi all
Is it worth paying so much for the geniune CF spoiler and mirror caps? There are good quality ones selling on Ebay or E92-Lighting.com ande less than half the price of the BMW geniune ones. Any advise is welcome. |

Short answer is yes. The BMW Performance parts are very well made. They fit, and they have very high quality. Even the weave is all uniform. That can't be said for the "cheap" CF stuff you see on ebay. I have a friend who bought a rear spoiler.... and after six months it has faded and yellowed in certain sections. Now he notices the weave is not uniform either.
I really think the Perf CF bits are worth the money BMW is charging - in the long run. PS: Did you see my pics of the Perf CF spoilers? http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=575456 |

Agree, the BMW performance spoiler and mirror caps are of a high quality. I got mine from Dan at United BMW for a reasonable price.

the only spoiler I would consider other than the BMWP is the iCarbon, but its extremely hard to find for a good deal for one, so I got a BMWP
pretty much all other fit like crap and the edge will come up |

I was quoted by local BMW in Melbourne $975 INC (with installation) seems like not much difference. |

Eddie, unfortunately those were 2008 prices when BMW first introduced the products. Sadly, they've gone up from that. Here is the link to order if you are interested. Freight charges will stay the same.
