Car registration tomorrow...

So finally, after having been beaten around the bush, slapped up, kicked in the balls and now finding a leasing company that i LOVE and a dealer who wants my business..... The lease has been signed by myself, my employer and the lease company.

The car has been put in pre-delivery, and is being registered tomorrow!

Does anyone know what number plate numbers the RTA are up to? I'm assuming it could be a BLx-xxx, or even a BMx-xxx number plate?

I will cut my foot off with a rustor razor if it's BMW-xxx

PS - Delivery Saturday morning, and it's in Newcastle!

If the car you are buying was the one that Kloster's had in the showroom, then I have driven it. I am thinking of buying a 1 series for some fun and they let me test drive that car, an Alpine White M sport 125i, with black leather, sunroof and auto.

Don't worry I only had a brief drive, but the car stunned me with its exhaust note and and responsiveness. And the white looks great too.

I am still thinking about it, will likely get a 6 spd manual though.

Picking her up tomorrow - under 12 hours now!

The colour and options are exactly the same as in my sig - apart from the 261 rims.

Great to hear you took her for a ride - sounds like a made a good purchase!! I took an identical one for a ride (the only thing different was it had rear parking sensors) and I loved it.

Can't wait to pick it up!

dk130i - oh. There is NO doubt there'll be 1000kms on her by Sunday. Novated Lease = free fuel with a HUGE allowance.... Fuel price? Who cares! I'm going to try to get to Parramatta soon as there's a servo on Windsor Road that does 100 RON. Once she gets past 2000kms, i'll get a tank + some big jerry cans I have for my boat of 100.

BKNxxx - i'll be swapping to black Southern Cross icon plates in a few weeks with the same rego number.

Congrats, as a brand new 125i owner. I saw the guys at Klosters today and they said you took delivery earlier in the day. I hope your drive back to Sydney was every thing you expected. You've got a sensational little car. Enjoy!

As a Newcastle BMW dealer they seem to be selling a lot of cars to folks from Sydney. I will have to wait till some time next year to get mine. My wife needs a new X5 before I can get my new toy. Oh well!

In the meantime, its cool reading about others in their new 1 Series coupes.

And trust me, after doing 540km yesterday, i'm burning through the fuel

the fuel's not Free as such.... you're still paying for it in the package, but it does make it easy
