Late Canadian shipping ??

Hey

Here in Canada we don't have the chance to check our order status through a website or a 1-800 number. We're limited to calling our dealership to inquire on the status of our car.
I ordered my car on May 10th.

My question is, I called the dealership today asking on the status of the car. the sales manager said that the car is still waiting for transport. I had called the dealer ship on June 8 and 15th and it was waiting for transport then. The car was likely produced during the first week of june.

Is it normal that the car is waiting for a ship for more than 2 weeks ?
The dealer couldn't get the VIN number either. Is that normal?

The dealer can get the VIN Number. When I was deciding on which 330 I wanted (either the one at the dealer or one at port waiting to be shipped to Calgary), they had the VIN number for the one at the port.

BMW is probably waiting so it can ship a whole bunch of cars out to the cities at the same time versus shipping when customers need them (like ASAP!).

That's weird. I clearly asked for the VIN number twice. Everytime time the sales manager says that he can't get it. that they don't know the VIN number until they see the car in person.

I guess there's nothing I can do but wait.

Is there a 1-800 number for Canada. Can we call anyone other than the dealership? I have my production number.

CDN Order Tracking

I E Mailed bmw.ca asking about order tracking.
I havn't heard back yet.
My dealer told me that I can not track the order.
I ordered the car on May 14/05 and was told it would be manufactored in June and delivered end of July.
