tail light mod suggestion.

Hi all,

I'm planning on picking up a 135 over the summer. Only thing that really bothers me about the car is the wierd tail lights. With help of photoshop, and someone's picture (not sure who's it is, but if you want it down let me know), i made alil mod.

What do you think?

I personally like the look of the stock rear lamps on the 1, but your idea looks clean as well. I doubt it'd be difficult to do, especially if you were okay with using paint.

+1. although with the lids it looks a bit too japanese (not rice but japanese style like lexus) to my eye. I am considering front eyelids but that may indeed look ricey. But the car is begging for them with those huge front lights.

Looks like the 5 series tail lights. I like them stock but that is a nice ps

Funny, I thought of that when I first saw the tails lights too. My PS skills arent that good so I wont post my pics, but after doing it I thought it looked like a 5 series too. (My pic is straight on from the back).

I decided to wait til I actually have the car, but I was going to vinyl it and see how it looks.

^ i had that thought too, but the fiver is a bit more squarish. the eyelids give an elongated, stretched rectangle kinda look. like this?:
