BMW Performance H7 Bulb Review
Just ordered them this week and should have a write up this weekend! My current H7's dimmed out on me and I decided to see what else there was in the market. Since I don't have the Xenon option and neither the money nor time to install OEM or aftermarket pieces (LED's in halogen housing) I looked to go official BMW as with most of my items.
Looks like BMW has a performance bulb that gives off some better light. There aren't too many reviews if any so I will write one up. I didn't pay full price of course! Found them for a bargain @ $24.99! Pics to come of the comparison as well as the official write up! Stay tuned. Part # - 63212239799

Ah, after reading for once I see these bulbs are for you guys who don't the "high speed" Xenon headlights... lol
I need some solid bright ass H8 bulbs, that are 35w or LED... |

Attached is a photo I found online. It is better than what I had taken... and shows exactly that the light is a "little bit" whiter if at all. However, the one thing I did notice right away was that these lights have a much longer beam compared to the stock. It gives you a much better visibility in terms of how far the beam reaches out in front of your car. This is what I was looking for! It is probably a good +8-15ft better. This is my first time replacing headlights and what a PITA... Driver side install was 100% blind. You had to pop off the back cover then pull down a small silver prong holder and then somehow wedge out the H7 bulb from in between the silver prong holder and then unplug the H7 bulb which has no wiggle room to maneuver! All in all took me a good 25-35 minutes. All about wiggling it in and out!
