I'm interested....but am i seeing this correctly, the ///M is etched or sunken in but the BMW 1M and the numbers are raised?

Is that correct?

Yep that's correct. Depending on well it prints, it may need slight adjustment, but for now, that's the look.

I don't see this a problem at all Will require some new modelling but since they are single runs it won't hold anything back.

Once I get to a point where I'm confident with how the actual piece looks, I'll coordinate with you as well as everyone else on the list on customization.

Interested. "D" in a black anodized version would be nice. That way it blends into the dash (Black on black. Not there unless you are actively looking at it)

Great idea I think that would look fantastic too. Depending on how the printing turns out I may go with that version myself.

I like the look, but having them individually numbered would be costly, and without the number it seems underwhelming. Perhaps the number could be engraved, post-printing?
In any case, try this outfit for good pricing on the stainless 3D printing: fastprotos.com They did some stainless pieces for me a year or so ago, and the prices were very reasonable - around $25 per piece for some items about the size of my thumb.

Will look into it but the cost would more or less be the same since essentially overall dimension of the piece isn't changing, just the text. I'm going to find out fairly soon how the first sample will look like and will get a ballpark on pricing.
