DIY Tools To Use
Hey Guys, I am about to upgrade my audio thanks to ken @ musicarnw, and am looking for some panel removing tools to get the job started. I went into my local pepboys and found a removal kit, but it was rather expensive and looked really cheap. Can anyone point me towards some good tools to use?
Thanks in advanced. -SS |

Not too savvy with audio stuff inside the car, but you can send a PM to this guy on this thread : http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...er+replacement
He has totally gutted and replaced his entire audio system. Hope this helps!

I second the above. I have the yellow plastic set from Harbor Freight. I think it cost me about $10.

Perfect, thanks guys, much appreciated. Satalite, I had that thread posted as soon as I saw it the first time, that guy did a great write up. thankfully there is a harbor freight by me so I am gonna go check it out. I didn't see the yellow set online, but there was a blue one. And Zero, I should just ask you for all my audio needs, as you keep giving great advice haha. BTW, hows that brand spanking new 128 treating you? I know the last time we spoke it hadn't arrived yet.

As for the 128i.... the car is great!!!! I already put a clear bra on it, a black gloss vinyl roof, and just did some Formula 1 tint today. Oh man does she look hot!!!!! She did get jealous though, took out her big sister (My 5 series) for two days. When I went back to the 1er.... took her a while to crank. She was pissed. LOL!!!!! Hope you are doing well... can not wait to see your audio set up.
