N54 Meth Kit (JB3, PROcede, Stock) - Several Kit Options Now Shipping
**UPDATED Kits**
Methanol/Alcohol/Water injection, commonly referred to as "meth", allows you to make tremendous amounts of power on pump gas. The effect is similar to running 104 octane all the time, with additional cooling benefits allowing for more power than you could ever make on race gas alone. The install is challenging, requiring you to drill and tap a location for the nozzle, but the performance benefits greatly outweigh that. This unique kit locates the methanol pump in the 1.5 gallon tank for easy install and removal. The tank/pump then can be placed anywhere in the trunk for easy access and removal. We've selected the 250psi pump for its superior atomization and flow characteristics relative to less expensive 150psi pumps. This kit also features a check valve for reliability and a 7GPH (M7) injection nozzle perfectly sized for the 380-440whp range. The basic kit includes a boost activated on/off switch. For those who want a more sophisticated system we also offer the CMGS methanol controller gauge, which features adjustable progressive spray, boost readings, and other adjustable options. It also includes the CMGS flow sensor which allows the CMGS to display methanol flow and trigger the JB3 to go to a higher boost map ONLY when the methanol is properly flowing. These kits fully integrate with the JB3 2.0 Meth system as well as with the PROcede meth system as well. Due to the heavy weight of the basic kit shipping is fixed at $22 for domestic UPS ground. The kit will ship ground regardless of what shipping option you select at check out. Please inquire about international shipping rates. The pictures below are of the quick-mount kit/tank. Just wanted to let everybody know that coolingmist has released there new SUPER ATOMIZING nozzles which are available as an upgrade on oall the kits. They come in two sizes, CM5 and CM7. I have been running one in my car for a few weeks now (CM7) and its a nice improvement! Highly recommend.

SERIOUSLY.... how safe is meth? I have never used it, but to my knowledge what they do is lower internal temperatures to you can advance timing. However, they have a tendency to fail causing catastrophic engine failure. Is this true???

Meth does two things. Reduces IAT and increases Octane. With the proper safeties its pretty safe. With the JB3 setup we only raise boost when meth is flowing. When meth stops for whatever reason boost is dropped back down. This can be accomplished due to the fact there is a flow sensor in the system which monitors meth flow. This is why I always recommend a Meth kit with safeties as opposed to the bare bones meth kits. Mike |

The G3 takes in a 5v from the CMGS or VC2. In the CMGS you configure the minimum meth flow and maximum meth flow before a map switch can take place. So for say 17psi you'll set a say 600ml/min min and say 1500ml/min max. The max is critical to revert to fail safe mode if a methanol line melts, cracks, become disconnected, etc.
The G4 has a 0-5v analog input which reads flow and a 4-8khz output which goes back to the CMGS/VC2 to actually control how much methanol is being injected making the G4 the brain. It can monitor timing and decide more meth is needed in that range, less boost, etc. So you get much more precise and integrated control. Not having to rely on a slow boost line from the engine bay all the way to the trunk is another nice benefit. And you can enable/disable the meth with a map switch right from the steering wheel!
