Engine Malfunction

So this morning I went to start up my 08 135 and upon start up I got the half enginer sign with "engine malfunction" on the iDrive. I've read through some engine malfunction threads and my issue seems to be different that others here. Right when I started the car it was idleing extremely low (300-500rpm) and then just stalled out. I restarted the car like some suggest and it remained. The car was undrivable, so I just had it towed to the dealership here in Phoenix. I installed jb4 and have been running map 1 on and off for about 1500 miles. Waiting for the call from BMW... hope I'm not out a load of money...

you're gonna be out a load of money if you didn't uninstall that jb4, or in the very least put it on map0 before bringing it in

if they can't get an ecu reading or if they see an over boost target condition they may look for it

best of luck

If you solve your issue let me know.today I pulled from 4th and the engine made a weird revv sound. The half yellow engine like went up.. Unistalled Cobb and run again and half engine like pop again. My car is stock except berk exhaust.. I'm not mechanics inclined!!!! Any toughs? The weird thing is I just installed Cobb last week haven't had time to abuse it

Codes may help. Check it out - may help with self diagnosing.

One thing I'd definitely suggest is getting a good local BMW coder to run diagnostic on your car as it'll be MUCH cheaper than BMW's $135 diagnostic just to tell you the issue PLUS parts and labor for the fix. Provided you're no longer under warranty like myself or don't have anything for them to tell you you're not covered(work to the car causing it to be an unwarranted job)

I am also having many error codes, rough idle smells like it is running rich, having problems starting, it will not go above 3000rpm and no turbo spool at all.

i have just replaced the starter motor and now i am having these issues, can anyone point me in the rite direction as there seems to be no cables off or anything like that, is there a fuse that could be causing the issue?

Here is a video of it running with the lights:

Here is a video of it starting up:

Here is it trying to start:

Thanks
