LCI Blackline Bulb Error

After 5 months of trouble free ownership of LCI blacklines, I received the following error message on my iDrive

Knowing the dealer wouldn't help me out since blacklines are a non-US part, I tried diagnosing the issue myself. I made sure connector plugs and bulbs were secure. I even swapped out the socket board from the original tail light but I still got the same error message.

Then I asked my wife to take a side by side picture of the tails and I noticed the right (working) blackline has a bulb lit up in the corner whereas my left one does not. It seems unlikely that only the left taillight bulb would die out (especially considering these are only 5 months old). Nonetheless, does anyone know is this just a matter of replacing a bulb or does the headlight itself need to be replaced?

Checked realoem, I wonder if the issue is the socket (#6 in diagram). When I swapped the socket boards, I believe that was part 7, which is separate from 6.

If I were to guess, it is just the bulb. The reason people replace the entire light is an LED failure - or at least a soldered connector.

Have you swapped bulbs from left to right to see if the failure follows?

Not yet, it wasn't till I got home I checked realoem and saw that bulb as separate from the main panel. I'll try that this weekend.
