By the way, just so you guys can get a gauge as to when on earth your boat will reappear on radar, our boat JUST reappeared on radar after 6.5 days.

There's an interesting trick with the AIS site -- even when the main mapping app says your ship is out of range, it provides you with position data which it allows you to "ghost map." That allows me to see that Cepheus Leader is now off the coast of Mexico and it will pass Acapulco tomorrow.

Ya, I was kinda doing that with ours, though sometimes it then sends me all the way back to panama, other times I'm ghosting up the coast slowly past Andy's b&b in Z-town.
We don't have to worry about it now though! Back on radar showing April 19th arrival at noon. |

Whoa -- the Port of San Diego just moved up the arrival date for Cepheus Leader from 4/24 to 4/22.
http://www.sdmis.org/schedule/ I'll be eager to see if Port Hueneme's updated schedule (usually posted on Fridays) shows a similar change. Cepheus Leader must be an "is" model ship with a 10% power boost! |

Clearly your boat moves much faster than ours, but ours is much prettier I think, with that lovely orange and white motif. Looks like a giant creamsicle!

She'll be passing by Cabo overnight or in the morning, then it's up the Baja coast to San Diego. I still think she'll get into Port Hueneme earlier than the schedule posted on their website (i.e. Friday). If she leaves San Diego on Tuesday afternoon as scheduled, there's no way it should take until Friday to get to Port Hueneme. Cross your fingers!

Looks like y'all are finally almost docking in SD. Just passing Our Lady Hornblower.
Going under Coronado Bay Bridge. I hope it parks next to Bob Hope. Last edited by gregthegr8; 04-22-2013 at 08:29 PM.. |

According to the schedule I have and sent to Simian, shows a 1 day stop there mostly to torture you two from what I was told. The link doesn't seem to be working right now though, but was here:
