Canada Post Does It Again!

Arrgh!!!
Bought a shifter knob on Ebay on 27th of April. Free shipping from Europe. I should have known better...
It took long enough to get sent out, but it arrived in Mississauga, ON by May 31 (finally!), got to Richmond, BC on June 05 (alright, almost there!) and then it proceeded to Montreal QC where it's been sitting since June 08. WTF???
Just so you know, I am in Langley, suburbs of Vancouver, few miles away from Richmond...

Interestingly since this was shipped with Registered International Mail, Canada Post does not provide any tracking info whatsoever.
But Ebay does. No idea where they get that from...
The seller is co-operating, but I don't really want a refund - I want my awesome weighted ZHP leather shift knob.

Who knows what happens next. It will probably go back to the sender. Or to Argentina for what I know...
Despite numerous attempts to get any info from CP helpdesk , they will do nothing about it. Even if I know exactly where my package is sitting right now. They just won't throw it into the right bin for me.
You get what you pay for - it never fails.
Also the seller is considering to exclude Canada from shipping destinations all together since this is becoming to be all to common as of late and causing him negative feedback.
Thanks Canada Post!
150 years later and they suck more than ever before.
Kris

US here with the trump card, I wish our postal service was our biggest issue.

The package itself is probably still in Langley, just it is showing in Montreal because that is where the paperwork is being processed by customs. Happens all the time. And if they mailed it without the proper customs paperwork, it could be showing there for a while.

I see what you are saying... however it landed on Canadian soil in Missisauga... I would assume customs would have cleared at the point of entry... but who knows.
I bought another item of similar value from the same location and around the same time, sent with postal service and it arrived in three weeks.
Hell, I got a set of emblems for my daughter's car from China couple of weeks ago and it only took 5 days!..
So it seems like your results may vary... wildly.

lately, every package shipped via usps/canada post, has been held for further processing in Quebec. Its a relay pain in the ass, especially when you pay for 2-3 day shipping.
