Information regarding high temperature days

The LUX H8 V3 power supply has been specially designed to incorporate a temperature sensor. On very hot days the inside of the headlight compartment may reach very high temperatures, and the LUX power supply has been designed to turn off if the temperature reaches 100 degrees Celsius. This thermal cutoff is designed to protect the LUX and prevent damages to occur due to heat.
A Note on taking pictures of the LUX H8 angel eyes

To take accurate pictures of the angel eyes, please try to take the picture from 15 or more feet away from the car. Also be looking directly at the angel eyes from eye level. This will result in the best pictures of the LUX H8 angel eyes.
A note about Flickering:
Depending on the model and year build of your car, LED Angel eyes may may flicker when first starting the car. This is due to the CANBUS system BMW uses to check exterior bulbs for shorts or blown bulbs. The car is only sending pulses of power to make sure bulbs are in tack, and with LED angel eyes this causes flickering for up to 30 seconds after startup

One suggestion is to leave the lights on the AUTO setting, and this may stop flickering upon start up.
Window Decals
We are now offering window decals as well. These are made from a High Quality SILVER Vinyl and can be included in your order for no additional charge. If you are interested in a decal please just send me a PM

I just finished installing the LUX V3 and I am very happy with the results.

The installation is straight forward but was very challenging due to the limited access. Just a tip, make sure you don't pull off the orange ring seals like I did. I was not aware they are needed. I found it hard to line up the 3 tabs and twist it on both sides. This took up most of my time.

After I finished one I started the car up and was blown away by the difference. I never liked the look of the stock yellow lights so I was very pleased when I saw the nice white colour. The headlight with limited access is even more challenging. After I finally got it installed I accidentally pulled the entire headlight cover off! I was annoyed because if I did this from the start it would have been much easier because I had more room and also fitting the headlight cover back on was a challenge in itself.

Another tip when doing the installation is to use a torch to look through the headlight because this will help you see how the tabs line up. This made life a lot easier for me. In hindsight I think anyone can do it but allow yourself enough time as it might take an hour to do both taking your time the first time.

As for the results, I am very pleased. My goal from the start was the exact same look as the stock lights but I wanted a white colour instead of yellow. I will reserve final judgment until I've seen them in direct daylight and night time but for now I think it looks fantastic. Highly recommended and I'm glad I went with these over the HIDs. I will post some photos soon

I just installed my Amber Angel Eyes yesterday and they look awesome! I'll post pictures tomorrow.

I am having an issue with the lights though. The car keeps warning me that the DRL's aren't working, and they clearly are working. Is this a common issue? How can I remedy this?

The only thing that throws me of is that why are the middle halos soo blurry in pics and when people do the halos themselves (bake and crack open) they come out so clear??

the middle halo's are brighter and they cause glare in the camera. If there is more ambient light when taking the picture this does not happen.
