Escort Smart Mirror

I am seriously considering installing the Escort Smart Mirror (http://www.escortradar.com/smartmirror.php) and wonder if I will lose my comfort access features. Anyone have any ideas?

I can't really imagine why you'd lose you CA. The mirror looks like it installs completely discrete from the car's electronics. I say go for it.

I think its a cool item, but proceed with caution....

I've got a navigon 7200t GPS unit and it is a total piece of shit. I bought it because I liked the way it looked and the interface seemed pretty cool, but it crashes a lot and the interface turned out to not be the greatest. I would think that it might be even more cumbersome on such a small screen as on this mirror.

Other issues with Navigon, customer support is almost non-existant, it won't remain paired with my iphone (supposedly they've fixed this) and I can't hear the person on the phone when they are speaking (too quiet). On the other hand once you've got your location plugged in and you are going its a pretty good unit. The lane assist thing is actually quite handy..

Garage List
I think it is a cool design, but for a small car like the 1- it will virtually be half the windshield width

Known technically as the BMW "clown nose", it is the indicator lamp for the alarm system - see your manual for specifics.

+1. I have a Navigon GPS unit as well and it has been very problematic. I also agree that their customer service is virtually non-existent.
