Evolution Racewerks makes a great intercooler if you don't mind trimming / cutting to make it fit. If you don't want to do any kind of cutting then ETS makes a 5" intercooler which would work well.

They both provide a horsepower increase and less heat soak. One won't be much better than the other since both the Forge and Evolution require cutting / are similarly sized. Only power / heat soak difference should come if you get say a 5" intercooler vs a 7".

I'm waiting for the 5" VRSF FMIC to come out. Once people datalog it, with hopefully positive results, I'll puchase it. I'm not in a hurry though since the weather is changing.

I just purchased the ETS. They offer a 10% military discount and shipping was next to nothing. All in all, it was a tad over $700.

+1.

OP: if you order the Forge, make sure you ask for the 1M version, as the 135i version will require some cutting (ends up using silicone couplers)
