Ultimate Drive Merchandise

I was browsing my BMW Magazine I received and saw some of the Ultimate Drive merchandise they offered. Their site, http://www.bmwusa.com/theultimatedrive offers a bunch of nice things that are very reasonably priced and each item displays the amount that is actually donated towards charity. The donated amount is between 1/2 to 1/3 of the price. If you haven't already, you guys should browse their items and see if there is anything for your wife/girlfriend, (or for you if you're a girl ). I just ordered the CD case and the key chain for myself.

Why does it have to be for me only if I'm a girl?? Maybe me and some people in Australia like wearing pink!

Good idea though Nikki, and a good cause.

I looked over the site and it seems pretty cool. I'm not exactly sure how it works though, seems like I just register for this event, show up, test drive a car and they donate money per lap I do? Is there some kind of catch like a registration fee or something? or do you need to raise money from people you know or something?

Free test drive plus money donated to charity seems almost too good to be true.

You don't need to pay at all. BMW gives you a set course to test drive the car and you have an hour to drive it. For every mile you drive, BMW donates $1 to the fund. It is a great marketing strategy because many people will go in and test drive a 6 series, 7 series, Z4, etc. and then want the car and buy it. It also helps BMW to promote their social responsibility.

The ultimate drive is awesome. I've done 3 of them so far and will do them whenever they are in my area. If you pre-register, you can reserve up to 3 cars (the 6 series verts are the first to be prebooked). They also take walk ins so you really can drive even more than 3 cars if you've got the time and they have the cars. They donate $1.00 for every mile you drive so the more cars you drive, the more money Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation gets from BMW. A fun part is you get to sign your name on a signature car that goes on tour with a Sharpie magic marker when you're done!

We hosted the susan j. komen this year at out new dealership. The event was great. We had cancer survivors from the area and presented plaques and awards. Great event and anyone who has it in their area should do it next year. I bought the little makeup cases (I think thats what they are) for my wife and my Mom and the both love them. I may get the hat for my wife next. She saw it in our BMW clothes shop the last time she was at the delaership. Everyone should try to buy 1 item for this great cause.

Yup, yours is the dealership I've always done it at. Your dealership is awesome! I am actually heading there today to drop of the x3 for a minor problem. I wouldn't buy a car from anybody but you, and if Flemington doesn't carry a brand, I don't need that brand. Too bad you left my favorite salesman behind in the Audi/VW/Porsche building but he said he'd introduce me to someone good when it comes time to order the e90 coupe and get rid of the x3 and M3.

you have to be 25+ to drive anything more expensive than a 3 series. I'm 1 month too young, and it would be pointless to drive to the dealership in my 3 to drive another 3.

It varies depending on the dealer. I think our dealer lets you drive anything except for the 6 and the 7 as long as you are 21+

Awesome! I love it. I love how it's a horseshoe shape and the little ball unscrews instead of having to break your nail using the other kind. I should add that if anyone gets this keychain and has a Mobil Speedpass you have to modify it a little. It takes a second, just get a screwdriver and put it in the speedpass hole to make it slightly bigger.

It's not pointless, it's for charity. Cruise around in a 3 series even, free gas, and I'm sure it'll be a good time.
