Need some feedback on Procede for N55

Hi all,

Thinking of getting procede for my N55 DCT. Any feedback from owners with proceed on their N55 DCT will be appriciated? Thanks!

Hey Ken,
You're probably better of searching and asking in ther general N54/N55 engine forum - rather in the Australian sub-forum - the experience base there would be broader than in here.
Unless you're after specific local experience/knowledge? - in which case Adrian@Vishnu is probably a very good person to ask.
Procede is pretty well established and I would think the experience from the US would translate close to what we would get here (our fuel quality permitting).

Probably not as specifically helpful, but I've got the Procede V5 with the 2-14 maps, on an N54 6AT, and it goes well.
The stock car is pretty quick off the line (down-low torque is very impressive). The the Procede the mid-range is meatier and there is more pull up top (whereas the stock car feels really flattens out above 5krpm). Throttle response on the go is improved too. Its noticable, but not quite blow-your-socks-off different. And as with all power mods, you get used to it rather quickly.

Australia pump fuel is much better than US pump fuel. Our 98 RON is equivalent to US 93/94 Octane. Most cars there run on 91 octane. And you can get 100 RON here.
