I dont really see getting much if anything from there. No strut brace for 135i's, no seats for us Americans, and no CF hood. Maybe intake and exhaust but it would have been nice to been offered the other goodies from BMW.

I put a LSD in my last truck and the damn thing was worse in snow. The wheel that is not spinning helps to keep it on line, or else your rear end just slides around.

the e82 training manual says the e-diff will be introduced to the 3 series with the n54 sometime in the future, i'm assuming for the 09 my. on paper it looks promising, it's basically regular dsc/dtc regulation without cutting engine power.

Here's a link to my commercial post. I've got a pricelist (including a 15% discount for 1 addicts members) and the most up-to-date info on availability that I have access to.

Already posted this in the Canadian Forum, but thought I'd repost here cuz its a lot of good info...
Not entirely specific to the 1 series, but it does look like we'll be getting that sweet steering wheel (it only specifically says its available for the 3 series however, I'm just thinking down the road... in Canada at least). Edit: Images of BMW 1 Series Performance Parts Available here: http://www.press.bmwgroup.com/pressc...58B8FE&block=1 http://www.press.bmwgroup.com/pressc...58B8FE&block=2 http://www.press.bmwgroup.com/pressc...58B8FE&block=3 Though the Press Release doesn't give away much, there seems to be quite a few 1 Series performance parts in the images, including a Limited Slip Diff, Cross Drilled Rotors, the F1 Steering wheel, etc. Its all available from the BMW Canada Press Club webpage http://www.press.bmwgroup.com/pressclub/ca02.nsf

Wow. Control arms, struts/springs, LSD and intake - could it really be that simple?

UK catalogue is out today, I'm popping out on my lunch to pick one up... not officially launched for another 2 weeks though (apparently)

Having recently read about the 135i and it's performance in magazines and on here (awesome site, reminds me a lot of LS1Tech) I just had to go check one out. Calgary BMW has a pretty much stripper 135i with half the performance catalog installed on it sitting in their showroom. Needless to say the car looked phenomenal, as a car should with $14,000+ in accessories.
I have a photocopy of the pricelist for the items that were on the car, is posting the prices a violation of site rules? As far as I know the dealership isn't a supporting vendor of this or any site. If it isn't, I'd be happy to post up the prices. |
