Headlights
All,
Had the dreaded Adaptive Headlight Failure and took the car to the dealership. After playing with it for a few hours I came in to look at it and it was explained to me that the passenger side bulb housing inside of the headlight was no longer attached to the housing and just kind of swinging around which caused the failure. Rep told me that they can't order pieces of the headlight so I would need to replace the whole headlight assembly which is pretty spendy. Also the bulb is burned out so there's that...I have searched a little bit and seen there are a few that take the depot headlights and do some upgrades to the AEs and outputs but I couldn't find out if they still required coding. Having adaptive headlights are cool, but not something I need. Also I saw that some one is selling a set of headlight assemblies that I'm hoping will be able to get just the passenger side. Is there a better location for buying the Bi-Xenon bulbs than the dealer? |

I'm working on a new setup and ordered Spyder headlights with Xenon and halos:
