Is it just me or does that last vent look almost like it has excess adhesive or something coming out from the edges?

Any plans on CF front fenders for the 1 that will allow for wider front tires (245 or 255)?

I already wore the top part of the "B" off Bridgestone! Need room for wider meats up front!

Also, any pictures of non-vented hood?

I would love to have the vents but my 1 currently is not garaged and I have to deal with crappy Philly weather. How are the vents secured to the hood? Are they screwed/bolted in? Could I get two sets of vents? One that makes them functional for nice weather and one set for show (non-functional) that keeps the elements out? ???

Are the single-sided CF items have FRP reenforcement underneath? Does that account for the extra weight?

Unfortunately we don't have any of those except for the prototypes to show yet :/

It's the same hood in terms of fitment, with the only difference being the slat-style lower vents are removed, and only the M3-Style vents and the power bulge stay.

Here's a pic of the first iCS hood out of production:

It's the reflection from the flash/ceiling lights

We just did a make-shift photoshoot for you guys. A proper official shoot with a very well known photographer will be done next week - we had to cancel the roof wrap until next week

Sort of! The Single Sided pieces are a carbon outside and a VACC (Vacuum Assisted Composite Construction) on the inside, that is painted black for an OEM fit and finish.

The Double Sided pieces are carbon on the outside AND inside, thus saving more weight

Nothing yet! There's not that large of a market for it, and even then, someone makes something similar. So at this time, I'd have to say nothing planned unless someone requested a custom project Which by the way, there are a few in the works!

Pic posted! The vents are bolted in from the underside using 4 screws. We made them removable so that you can change up what kind of vents you would like to use. Black, carbon, open, closed etc. This is on the slat-style vents from our Vented hood of course.

The iCS Hood (M3-Style) vents are open underneath, but can be closed pretty easily if need be

Yes sir - sort of! We don't use standard issue FRP but rather our Vacuum Assisted Composite Construction (VACC) which is our form of "FRP". It's lighter and stronger due to proprietary manufacturing techniques, but it is is still heavier than Carbon. That is why the Double-Sided pieces weight less
