More LED's on the bulb does not necessary means brighter.
I tried a few brands earlier but wasted $, best bang for bucks is to get Lux V3 although they cost slightly more but at the end of the day it is a once of fittment. You do not have to worry about changing it again. Last edited by Eddie135; 12-15-2011 at 03:51 PM.. |

Those will not be bright at all. they are decent for accent lights, but in the angel eyes you will not even see them. our LUX h8 V3 will be maybe 50 times brighter then those

Get the LUX. They are worth the money. I just had them put in and they are awesome. (Yes I'm a complete mechanical noob who can't install plug-and-play lights!)

To everyone shopping for replacement angel eyes, do it right the first time and get the LUX. I've tried quite a few: GP thunder 7500k/ 8500k, mtech cosmo blue/super white , ARC, . None compare to LUX. I was hesitant first to shell out that much for bulbs but it blows everything else out of the water.

Yeah, I agree +1000 for LUX. I tried eBay and Weisslicht and they are not bright enough...only one of two Angel eyes light up. I just sucked it up and bought the LUX...cant wait for delivery
FYI...the actual chip and LED maker are more important than the number of LEDs imo since I work with a few LED Mfg's.

As others have pointed out, do it right the first time! Save up and pay the extra money for the LUX! The combination of the high quality LED and powersupply is what makes the LUX better than the cheaper alternatives, none of them compare hardly at all. There's a reason why they cost so much more than competition.

My 128 in the left has LED's from JLevi I bought like a year ago, i forget what brand. The 335 on the right just got LUX V3's. They are way better than anything else I've seen. Especially in the daytime
