Tracking question

OK I am buying a 2012 135i through BMW Military sales and I'm trying to find out if anyone has ordered in country? If so or if anyone has any info about how long it takes for BMW NA to start tracking a vehicle being made? I have a VIN and order #, but my SA keeps talking about an official letter dealing with those numbers. Has the vehicle just been assigned these numbers and hasn't started its creation process? I'm just wondering.

You've gotten your VIN already?? I ordered right before Christmas and got an order number right away.. I registered it on their site & it still says order processing.. But I don't have a VIN yet.

I've been working at getting this car since May of last year. I was given both order # and Vin in the same Email, like 3 weeks ago.

I've bee paying it off since May last year about December I was getting info about Vin and Order, I have confirmed by now that my car is being made. I am starting on the financing.
