Hakka R

Has anyone been able to fit Nokian Hakka R's on their 135i? I purchased 4 x 225/40R/18 and took them to the nearest tire shop to install them. They called me back and said that it doesn't fit.

Hey man, according to Gill from Tirerack, those tires should fit the stock wheels. I am assuming you are talking about winter tires. I would check with another installer to make sure. Refer to page 3, post number 49.

there's no good reason they wouldn't fit (unless you're on 17" wheels!). i'd say it's more likely an indication of the quality of tire shop you visited. try a better shop?

Had the shop try it again today. This time when the tire itself wasn't zero degree Fahrenheit. They left it over night inside the shop, the tire was room temperature and went on just fine.
I liked the blizzaks but these Hakka R winter tires are so damn awesome.
