135i ran low on fuel, now misfires on 5/6
My wife felt like blessing me with guilt free parts. She ran our 09 135i down to 3 miles of fuel range and it's been misfiring on 5&6. I figured it was bad gas and drove nice and easy, just got a tank of 93 and it's still misfiring. Plugs are less than 1k miles old.
Pulls in 1st & 2nd do not result in any errors, however 3rd and above do Swapped plugs/coils still misfire on 6, I logged a 3rd gear pull, does this fuel pressure log look ok? I noticed rail pressure drop to 1230psi and fuel low pressure drop as low as 43psi, I'm thinking bad LPFP? Car is FBO with MHD stage2+ 91 octane https://datazap.me/u/mrblah/log-1577830185

1. What codes are you getting?
2. Flash back to stock and see if it's still happening. 3. Add a bottle of Techron at your next fill up and take it for a long drive.

Might have pulled a bunch of gunk onto the sock filter on the LPFP, all the junk sitting on the bottom of the tank.
Could just pull the pump and spray it down with brake cleaner and hope for the best. |

Removed tune, missfires on 5 & 6 but I suspect it's only 6. I just checked the injectors, bank 4/5/6 has a 9, 9 and 11 I think I need to make them all 11.
Is there any OEM source for index 12? rock auto is out now, I think rebuilt would be fine but most show the same flow numbers and I suspect are knockoffs

Stage 2 LPFP installed, cleaned, resealed and swapped injectors 1 & 6 Reset all engine adaptations and adjustments Missfire is gone, everything seems to be working well, mhd stage2+ tune is back on, next up will be installing oil pressure sender and getting ready for first HPDE
The fuel pump bucket was nasty, injector #6 did not even have a decoupler on it, every single injector was coded wrong, one index 12 and the rest in that bank were 9 whoever owned this before me was a bad mechanic
