Carbon Fiber vinyl roof wrap

Finally got around to getting my roof wrapped in 3M 1080 Scotchprint Carbon Fiber wrap. I had the mirrors done in gloss black also but am having second thoughts about how they look? Any comments are welcomed. I figured this mod would hold me over until I could get my hands on an M235i.......I wish.

looks good, i think a set of blackline tail lights would really set off the wrapped roof and mirrors

I like the gloss black side mirrors, though I am biased because I have them! I think the contrast and black mirrors looks great, especially on space gray. But is the thought you're having that you don't like how they look on their own accord or that you want the roof and mirrors to match and now want to do the mirrors in the CF?

I guess I'm just so used to the mirrors being color matched to the car I think it looks a bit much but I guess they will grow on me. Thanks for the great comments!

I was contemplating doing the mirrors in Carbon Fiber as well but I was going for the 135is look.

Ya, that's the other thing I was going to suggest as they aren't that expensive to even get the BMW ones (not sure if there are cheaper alternatives), but I like the black better. They also go better with the shadowline trim because it all looks cohesive together. You're lucky you don't have the dumbo side mirrors though as I think the carbon fiber mirror caps look better with the slimmer look.

Those darn blacklines are always tempting to me as well.

Did you remove the lines where the rail are and wrap them separate?
If so how do you remove them?
