question regarding m-sport package footrest pedal.

I just ordered a set of Aluminum pedals from a vendor on here and it didn't come with instructions. I did some searching on the forums and found that you just drill holes into the OEM gas pedal and screw on the new aluminum pedal or does the stock gas pedal piece come off?

Also, the footrest pedal is an M-Sport pedal, which is metal i presume, so do i have to drill through that for the new footrest pedal that i have? Thanks in advance.

Depends if it is OEM or not. I believe the OEM BMW M Dead foot is a complete replacement...? Not 100% sure.

The aftermarket aluminum pedals I got.... for the gas/dead foot drill right over the existing pedals (plastic). The brake/clutch you take off the rubber coat and expose the metal then drill through 4 points then put the screws in and tighten them up with the nuts and washers.

You might need pictures showing what you have currently and what your have to replace.

I am not 100% and I am sure another member could jump in as I don't have experience with the "M" dead foot. Here is what I think your trying to do?

Someone on the forum actually took out that dead foot a couple moths ago and posted a DIY I believe. Check the aluminum pedal DIY and it might be hidden in there.

I believe you have to actually pop out that dead foot rather than screw over it since its not plastic like mine.
