I had a PE on my 125i, it was too loud. The problem is that most people (myself included) buy the US 128i version from the states thinking its the same as 125i, but its not. The 128i has 2 sets of cats but the 125i has one set, so the US muffler is louder to compensate. Get the 125i version from the UK if you can.

Ive herd some youtube clips but its nothing compared to the real thing. The standard one sounds tough for a 6 cyl. Looks like i might have to start saving for the PE

Wow what an awesome first car, congrats!
It's great to see some younger people driving these cars (I'm actually not too far off from you myself, age wise). From my personal experience you may get some external criticism here and there for it.. but my advice is to ignore the haters, be thankful for the fortunate position you are in and just enjoy the amazing car! |
