New software upgrade...when?

Hi guys, just yesterday I took my car in for acceleration lag problem due to previous software upgrades. The shop foreman tells me bmw is working on releasing a new version of software that deals specifically with the lag. Anyone can confirm this or heard about it? Thank you!

I'd like to know about this too. I've had throttle and acceleration lag ever since I picked up my car new (2012 model built November 2011, delivered in December 2011). I'm guessing the DME in new cars comes programmed with the latest software upgrades but I don't know that for a fact. Anybody know about this?

I just picked up my 2013, and haven't noticed any lag once so ever. So I am guessing I have the latest update and you should receive it soon. My friend has a 2012, and I have drove his and noticed a significant difference in the responsiveness in my car as compared to his.

I maybe 100% wrong on this, but couldn't it be that your 2013 car came with PPK pre installed instead? Thank you.

No it's just the regular 135i, not the 135is. BMW is not selling it yet with the ppk installed yet.
