FS: BMW Winter Tire Set Up
Guys need your help. I know better and feel like a complete moron but I totally bought the wrong tire setup for my 135i from a guy with an e46 330i I have for sale Michelin X-Ice #3 used for 3 months, sized @ 195/60/15 on BMW OE aluminum rims (not steels). Very capable set up minus having to fit over a 6 piston front calliper - DUH Not 100% if this set up would work on a 128i but looking to get rid of for $350 - honestly it's what I paid for them. If anyone wants or knows another thread to post in let me know. http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details....8-cc02466e0e17 |

Most likely not work on 128 either. Smallest size and recommended winter size would be 205/55 R16. AND, I'll bet a 24 that these never came off a 330i.

Suggestion:
Do some research and find out what other cars might accept these wheels/tires. It's possible (just a guess) that they might work on a Civic e.g. and if so you have a pretty big market. (My BMW wheels and my Acura wheels have the same bolt pattern.) (my Camry's wheels came off a Dodge minivan.) Even if you had to split them up and just sell the tires, you should be able to recoup most of your cost. |

You say "not steels", but pic is on steel wheels, they are not alloys. And no way a 15" will fit on a 135, 17" minimum required. No way will fit a 128 either. And FYI, those would not fit a 330. Had my 17" 1er wheels in my 330, and they just BARELY fit, needed 25 mm spacers to fit, and it was very, very close.
BTW, I have a set of winter OE alloys for sale. |
