Thanks Dad!
I dropped my car off at the dealer the other day for some recall work.
The HPFP LPFP and all six injectors were changed. My dad was nice enough to pick up the car for me. Big mistake...this is how he returned the car to me that went in with a half tank of gas |

I'm suspecting that he was just returning the favor from when you were a teen driver.

I wish my father was around to take my car for a spin, even if it came back with an empty tank, 4 bent wheels and blown turbos - just to have him tell me what he thought of it.
Some of us aren't so lucky Matt. Wish him a happy father's day for me.

No offense intended, but aren't you in high school? If so, seems likely your parents bought the car for you or at least made a hefty down payment on it. If so, he really has the right to drive it if he wants. This may or may not apply to your situation, but my point still stands.

Nice! Same thing happened with my car when my dad took it on a business trip. He returned it with 6 miles left... enough to get to the gas station of course

I got my brother one day when I borrowed his WRX when I was driving my first WRX. He had borrowed mine a month or so earlier and left NO fuel in it. I neutralled the car to the petrol station and it died about 300m from it.
So i got him back by leaving his car parked at the servo (about 3km away from where we lived), a mate gave me a lift back. My brother said "WTF - where is my car?" "It's at the servo - it didn't have enough fuel in it so i left it there for you." He never borrowed my car after that. |
