BP Ultimate for any car, even my Kluger runs better with it. So the 135i will only see BP.

I've been using Shell V-Power in my MINI since 2002 (when it was known as Optimax), and have continued the practice with the 135i. Second preference is Vortex 98. I'll go with Ultimate if I can find it, but there doesn't seem to be much of it around where I live. But only ever 98 RON.

BTW, if you plan on doing some country touring in your 1er, it's a good idea to take along a couple bottles of octane booster. It can be impossible to find 98 RON once you're off the beaten track.

I would love to use BP ultimate all the time, but unfortunately BP's are hard to come by around the areas i travel... There are heaps more Shell's around so i tend to use V-Power most of the time. If not, then Mobil 8000(?). Always 98 octane.

I didn't realise BP Ultimate 98 was the most popular fuel for our 1ers.

I've been filling up using Shell V-Power 98... I thought Shell was the best? No?

Well I have been told BP in Melbourne aren't the same as BP in interstate. In Adeliade, Shell V Power is definitely better than BP... dunno why.

Gee, I'd use BP all the time too, but they don't do shopper dockets <duck>, so it's Caltex / Woolies for me most of the time.

I've filled up with BP & Shell in the past and can never tell the difference; can anyone? Having said that, I also have no real problem with the RFT's, so maybe I am devoid of senses!!
