Fuel filler flap repair?
Hi everyone,
I recently picked up a 2011 135i coupe. Recently found out the filler flap doesn't open as it should. First I tried using the manual release but that didn't work either so I ended up not filling up, came home and found the credit card method and sure enough now I can open it. However it seems the little spring in the rubber boot is stuck. Has anyone replaced this? I looked in the DIY section and did a search on the forum but couldn't find anything. And I apologize for putting this in the DIY thread. I didn't realize I was still in this section when I created this topic!!! Last edited by knightarmor; 02-02-2015 at 11:19 PM.. Reason: f'd up! |
