Just checked my oil gauge and it is below half way
Should I add oil or wait for a low oil light? If I should add oil how much a half quart?

I would add a half quart. Then go for a drive to bring the engine up to operating temperature and check it again.
I was down a quart after the dealer changed my oil. I went back and they topped it off. Never has happened since then though. Of course the first thing to check is for leaks. Has it been a while since your last change? |

Oh also I checked for leaks before i ever checked the oil less then a week ago I'd say
