Supersprint MSRP prices are pretty high but look around, there are some vendors who offer 30% off. I know BMPdesign used to be one of them and if they don't carry anything on the site, give them a call.

You can always go custom, glasspack and magnaflow which should only cost $350. I know Manglaflow also offered applications for BMW as of couple years ago, they might have something more within your budget.

$1100 or so for the axle back.

$1800 for the headers.

$780 for resonated mids.

I know you get what you pay for but I didn't think they were that much!

Have you installed your muffler yet?

I don't want to cheap out or anything. But I'm willing to spend when I'm ready to. Savings jars couldn't be any more helpful than they are now haha.

Sounds about right. Headers are definitely the priority there. I probably wouldn't get the mids at all.

No muffler yet as I'm still waiting on the car repair from the deer. Insurance decided to be a pain in the ass in the middle. Got it sorted now but that significantly delayed me.

That's the way to do it!

Holy poop. Still waiting on that repair?! It wasn't away in the shop the whole time was it? Insurance is always a pain in the bottom a lot of the time.

Yeah definitely headers seem to be the most valuable modification to the exhaust system compared with all of the other little bits. Personally, I feel that the muffler just changes some sounds and not much gain to be had there. In terms of the mids, I'm sure BMW's stock mids are okay and there are no gains to be had there either.

I'm trying my best to save. Being a student in Ontario sucks. haha.

It's been in the shop the whole time. Not the shop's fault.

Headers are the only part that make any real power. Secondaries make a little, but not worth it for a street car.

Thanks for the update. I'm sure the entire community is excited for you and ready to get your reviews for BOTH the powerloop and the TCK DA coils. I may be doing the 3-stage sometime in the spring as I'm in contact with some wreckers and have potential parts! I say this to you because I may or may not need some insight when I finally get the intake manifold.

Anyway, keep this thread and your own threads posted about the powerloop and TCK!

Will do.

As for the manifold, get on it early and often. It is just a waiting game to find one, so the more time you have in, the better off you are.

No one yet, but I will shortly. Expect to have time to install by Wednesday or so next week. I also ordered an external mic for the GoPro, so hopefully I can get some good sound clips.
