lol!!! I've done about 350 (And I live 2 mins away from work ) I tend to just look for excuses to go driving. Want to open this thing up so bad but (for the most part...everyone has the occassional 5500 rpm squeeze) have kept it reasonable.

What is normal operating temps on this thing? Seems like it takes a good 20 mins to hit 120 and I struggle to wait that long!

Hi guys,

New to this forum, but been tracking the posts for some time. Can I ask though, when can you expect the dealer to give you the VIN details?

I was told that my 135i would come this week, but to date they can't give me a rough time and he's telling me that he cannot confirm the VIN.

As you can tell, I'm not very happy with this dealership.

I second that, same here. I can't get any info, its just 'wait it out'.

I've got the shipping logs, but without the vin how can you track it?
It's pretty frustrating and would be cool to watch it come across on shiptracker and know you are actually looking to the appropriate ship...

Hi there Ronin001 and welcome to the forum mate..

Your VIN would have been issued to the dealer once the car went into production or was the car was given a production slot some 8 to 10 weeks ago.

Either the dealer is full of BS or they might just like to keep you in the dark..No idea why..The dealer might have several cars being delivered with the same specs and will juggle them between customers, hence not issuing you with the VIN..only a guess and highly unlikely thou..

Yeah that sucks a bit, my dealer in Melbourne gave me my VIN as soon as the car went into production, mind you i asked early too. Due for delivery in 3 weeks

On a side note, my BMW Perf CF Diffuser and Spoiler arrived last week before the car, landed in Aus for < $2100 for the pair.
